Volunteer
Volunteering at The Well is more than giving your time—it’s an opportunity to serve our customers well, to join a community, build meaningful connections and develop new skills.
Our volunteer team includes people from a wide range of backgrounds, including:
- Young people gaining key skills for life and employment
- Retired people using their whole life skills and wisdom
- People of faith loving God and loving Malvern
- People new to the country learning English
- Short work experience education placements
- Longer supported education placements (please enquire further about costs)
Most of our volunteers work in the café, serving customers, washing up or on Front of House. Other positions are advertised from time to time on Love Volunteering, social media and via local church newsletters.
We offer 30% team discount off food in the cafe, before or after a volunteer shift, and regular socials to help you get to know the community.
We ask all our volunteers to attend annual training, respond to regular updates and commit to one shift a week. (3 shifts per day, Monday to Friday.)
